Do cockroaches that fly bite?
You found a flying cockroach and it is now flying around you, believe me, I have many times searched this on the internet however no one wrote that cockroach bite. I would think the same if I was never bitten by a flying cockroach.
At the time When I was 25 years old and till now I had seen flying cockroaches more than 40-50 times but never been bitten by a cockroach in 2023 as a few days ago in 2023 a flying cockroach landed on my hand and bit me suddenly. It was the same feeling as a mosquito bite. In my opinion, the answer is yes. Make sure to keep yourself safe when you are near cockroaches.
I found definitions on the internet where yes and no statements for this answer are written.
No,
flying cockroaches do not bite humans. While some cockroach species can fly, they typically rely on their legs to get around and are not aggressive toward people. Cockroaches may nibble on organic matter, but bites on humans are rare and usually occur only if there's a severe infestation and a lack of other food sources.
Yes,
cockroaches can bite, but it's rare. Bites usually happen in extreme cases of infestation where food is scarce. When they do bite, cockroaches may target areas like fingernails, eyelashes, or soft skin. However, these incidents are uncommon, and cockroaches generally avoid humans.
